Why did Wyburns Primary School need 3PR?

Wyburns is located at the end of a residential cul-de-sac, where it is difficult to turn around and reverse. The road is also quite narrow, meaning traffic struggles to pass parked cars. The school has implemented a 3PR zone along a stretch of this road, meaning parents and carers cannot pull up to the school gates. This makes children’s walk to school safer and enables staff, coaches and emergency vehicles to access the school grounds with ease.
