Why did St. Pius X Catholic Primary School need 3PR?

Parents were often driving right up to the school gate, which put children at risk as they entered the school grounds. Drivers then struggled to turn their vehicles around, often mounting the pavement. Introducing a 3PR zone meant cars were no longer able to drive up to the gates, thereby keeping the area outside school clear of vehicles.
